Keith Price
Keith Price has been elected to represent the people of Napier as a City Councillor for more than 20 years, across seven terms.
As a councillor, Keith has extensive experience in the interface between local communities and intergenerational infrastructure, including freshwater infrastructure and governance. He has held the role of Chair of the Council’s Infrastructure Committee and led work to reform the operation of ‘Three Waters’ infrastructure in Hawke’s Bay.
Keith has a deep working understanding of the important intersection between communities, economic development, environmental management, and the role of secure, safe supplies of fresh across the Heretaunga.
Keith is a highly experienced and trusted local community representative with deep connections across the Hawke’s Bay’s. He has previously served communities as Detective Sergeant in the New Zealand Police, has owned and operated his own businesses and raised his family in Hawkes Bay.
He brings governance experience to the Heretaunga Water Storage Project, and represents water users who rely on Heretaunga’s water resources for every day, commercial, and long-term planning needs.
